JOB OVERVIEW

WordPress / Elementor Expert – Hello Elementor + Plugin Cleanup

We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer with strong expertise in Elementor and the Hello Elementor theme to help improve and maintain an existing professional website.

This is not a complete website redesign

Our website is already built in WordPress using Elementor and Hello Elementor. We want someone who can work within the existing design, improve the site, clean up unnecessary complexity, and make sure our team can continue editing the website in Elementor.

What We Need

You should have strong experience with:

- WordPress
- Elementor
- Hello Elementor theme
- Responsive design for desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Troubleshooting Elementor layouts
- Plugin troubleshooting and cleanup
- CSS troubleshooting
- Website performance and organization

We want to simplify the site where possible.

Over time, different plugins, Elementor add-ons, custom CSS, and other solutions have been added to the website. Some may overlap or no longer be necessary.

We want someone who can determine what is actually needed rather than simply adding more plugins or custom code.

Do not simply delete plugins. We want you to first identify what each plugin is doing, whether it is still necessary, and whether removing it could affect the website.

Our Approach

We prefer:

- Native Elementor functionality when practical
- Hello Elementor
- Clean, maintainable pages
- Minimal unnecessary custom CSS
- Minimal unnecessary plugins
- No proprietary page-building systems
- No unnecessary custom frameworks
- A website our internal team can continue editing

We are not looking for someone who wants to replace everything and start over.

Initial Work

The first project will be a small paid test involving part of the existing website.

If the test goes well, additional work may include:

- Homepage improvements
- Mobile and responsive fixes
- Plugin and Elementor add-on cleanup
- Forms and popup troubleshooting
- Video and testimonial sections
- CTA links and conversion improvements
- Ongoing WordPress/Elementor support

Compensation

$8–$12 USD per hour, depending on experience.

The initial paid test will have an agreed-upon scope and maximum number of hours before work begins.

For larger projects, we will agree on an estimated number of hours and a not-to-exceed amount before the project starts.
