Job Responsibilities:
Loan File Management & Submission
Review, organize, and upload loan documents into lender portals (UWM, Rocket TPO, Homepoint, etc.).
Ensure all files are 100% complete before submission to underwriting.
Stack and structure files to minimize conditions and speed up approvals.
Clearing Conditions & Underwriting Support
Review loan conditions from underwriters and request missing documents.
Ensure all conditions are uploaded correctly and promptly.
Follow up on condition approvals and escalate urgent requests when necessary.
Lender Communication & Follow-Ups
Check loan statuses daily and update loan officers and processors.
Communicate with underwriters, account executives, and loan officers to ensure smooth processing.
Manage lender and borrower correspondence efficiently via
Income, Credit, and Asset Analysis Support
Review and verify pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, and credit reports.
Assist in DTI calculations and income assessments to ensure loan eligibility.
Identify potential red flags that may delay underwriting.
Title, Closing, and Compliance Support
Work with title companies to ensure closing docs are prepared.
Verify final loan figures and confirm closing dates.
Ensure full compliance with TRID, RESPA, and federal mortgage regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
? 3 to 5 years of experience in mortgage processing, underwriting support, or loan assisting (wholesale preferred).
? Strong knowledge of loan documents, guidelines, and lender overlays.
? Proficiency in wholesale lender portals (UWM, Rocket TPO, Homepoint, etc.).
? High attention to detail and accuracy – must be able to catch errors before submission.
? Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
? Strong organizational and multitasking skills – must be able to handle multiple files efficiently.
? Proficiency in Google Drive, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools.
? Stable internet connection and a quiet home office setup.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
