JOB OVERVIEW

Everstone Industries LLC is a U.S.-based government contracting company specializing in supplying products and components to U.S. federal agencies. We are seeking a highly organized, experienced Virtual Government Contracting & Sourcing Specialist to support our procurement and quoting operations.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in government contracting or supply chain sourcing who is confident with cold calling vendors, requesting quotes, and negotiating pricing.

Key Responsibilities

Cold call manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers to request pricing and availability

Source and obtain competitive quotes for government solicitations (RFQs/RFPs)

Communicate professionally with vendors via phone and email

Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to support competitive bids

Research suppliers using online databases, marketplaces, and internal tools

Organize quotes, vendor information, and documentation accurately

Maintain clear records and follow up consistently with suppliers

Support the government contracting process with attention to compliance and detail

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in government contracting, procurement, or supply chain

Strong cold-calling experience and confidence speaking with vendors

Excellent spoken and written English (very important)

Ability to research parts, vendors, and pricing efficiently

Strong negotiation skills and professional communication style

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Comfortable working remotely and meeting deadlines

Preferred Experience

Experience sourcing for U.S. government contracts (DLA, DoD, federal agencies)

Familiarity with RFQs, NSNs, part numbers, or industrial/aviation components

Background as a virtual assistant, procurement agent, or sourcing specialist
