JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Website & Ecommerce Content Developer to help build, improve and manage our Elementor WooCommerce website on an ongoing basis.

This role would suit someone who is confident working with WordPress, Elementor and WooCommerce, and who understands how to create a professional, user-friendly ecommerce website that is easy for customers to browse and buy from.

The first part of the role will involve helping us develop and improve the website structure, design, layout and functionality. You will need to be comfortable building pages in Elementor, creating strong product category pages, improving the customer journey, and making sure the website looks professional across desktop and mobile.

Once the website is developed, the role will also include ongoing website management and product content work. This will involve uploading new products, creating and editing product listings, adding images and descriptions, and making sure the website remains accurate, well-organised and commercially effective.

Key responsibilities

The role will include:

Building and developing pages using Elementor
Improving the design, layout and usability of the WooCommerce website
Creating and managing product category pages
Uploading new product listings to WooCommerce
Adding product images, descriptions, prices, SKUs and product data
Organising products into the correct categories
Updating existing listings and improving product presentation
Supporting ongoing website improvements and new feature development
Ensuring the website works well on both desktop and mobile
Helping improve the overall customer journey and shopping experience
Working with us to make the website more professional, efficient and sales-focused
Skills and experience required

The ideal person will have:

Strong experience using WordPress
Strong experience building websites with Elementor
Good knowledge of WooCommerce
Experience uploading and managing ecommerce product listings
A good eye for layout, design and user experience
Good attention to detail
The ability to follow instructions and work accurately
Basic understanding of ecommerce, product categories and online selling
Confidence working with images, product descriptions and website content
Ability to work independently and suggest improvements where useful

Experience with SEO, product copywriting, marketplace listings, plugins, website speed optimisation or ecommerce automation would be a bonus, but is not essential.

About the role

This is an ongoing role, not just a one-off website build. We are looking for someone who can support the website long term, helping us continue to develop it while also managing the day-to-day product content and listings.

We need someone practical, organised and commercially minded who can help turn our website into a strong ecommerce platform that is easy to manage, easy to shop from, and built to support future growth.

Please put GMPDEV in the subject of your application.
