JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking an experienced content writer to write online articles for websites. The subject content will be service industry-related (both blue-collar construction-type and other service industries). No industry-specific knowledge is required, as the content will be based on research. A subscription to one of the major AI platforms is required (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini). AI can be used as a research tool to create outlines, but the final product must be written by a human. All articles will be put through plagiarism and AI detection software to confirm that it is original work. Guidance will be provided as to which topics to write about and what the subtopics will be. Excellent English skills in reading, writing, and speaking are required.

In addition to writing, other administrative tasks will include, but are not limited to, website citations (data entry on directory sites), searching for photos on stock photography sites, compressing photos, changing geolocation information, and writing meta descriptions.

Freelancer is expected to work 25 hours per week and all hours worked must be tracked on the time tracking software Hubstaff. The freelancer can work on their own schedule, but will need to be available to occasionally for video meetings during North American hours.

This job has the potential to lead to a full-time position with salary increases depending on the performance of the candidate and the success of the content written. Bonuses will also be awarded if the content leads to a profitable outcome.

There will be a trial period to determine the candidate's suitability.
