# Web Developer – Framer, Meta Tracking & Shopify

Location: Philippines – Remote
Type: Independent Contractor
Hours: Project-based / ad hoc
Compensation: Hourly - please provide your expected hourly rate

## About Us

We're a UK performance marketing agency specialising in Meta advertising and performance creative for DTC e-commerce brands.

We're looking for a technically capable web developer who can help us with our existing Framer website and, importantly, properly implement and troubleshoot our website tracking.

This isn't a role for someone who has simply installed a Meta Pixel before.

We need someone who understands how website tracking actually works and can investigate problems, diagnose what's wrong and implement the correct solution.

Initially, we have a specific project that needs completing. If you're good at what you do, there is potential for further website and landing-page work with us on an ongoing basis.

## What you'll be working on

Your initial work will involve:

* Making changes and updates to an existing Framer website
* Reviewing our current Meta Pixel and tracking implementation
* Diagnosing tracking issues rather than simply following installation instructions
* Implementing and/or fixing Meta Conversions API (CAPI)
* Ensuring browser and server-side events are configured correctly
* Handling event deduplication where required
* Testing events and confirming that data is being received correctly within Meta Events Manager
* Configuring and troubleshooting Google Tag Manager where required
* Working with GA4 and related website analytics/tracking
* Investigating discrepancies or problems with conversion tracking
* Implementing custom code or scripts where necessary

We don't need you to be the world's leading Framer developer. The website already exists, and initially we mainly need someone comfortable making changes to it.

Your technical understanding of tracking, integrations and web development is more important.

## What we're looking for

You should have genuine hands-on experience with:

* Meta Pixel
* Meta Conversions API
* Meta Events Manager
* Browser-side and server-side tracking
* Event configuration and troubleshooting
* Event deduplication
* Google Tag Manager
* GA4
* Framer
* HTML, CSS and JavaScript where required for implementation or troubleshooting

Most importantly, you need to be capable of diagnosing problems independently.

If an event isn't firing correctly, we don't want someone who immediately needs instructions telling them what to change. We want someone who can investigate the implementation, work out what is happening, test potential solutions and fix it properly.

## Shopify experience is a big plus

We also build landing pages for e-commerce brands, so experience with Shopify development would be particularly useful.

If you understand Shopify themes, Liquid, custom landing pages, tracking implementations and integrations within Shopify, please tell us about this in your application.

There is potential for a longer-term working relationship with the right person, particularly if you can support both development and tracking work across Framer and Shopify.

## Working arrangement

This is initially an ad-hoc, project-based independent contractor position, not a fixed 40-hour-per-week role.

We're not concerned about exactly when you work. You can manage your own working hours, provided communication is reliable and agreed work is completed within the required timeframe.

You will need your own suitable computer and a reliable internet connection.

As an independent contractor based in the Philippines, you will be responsible for your own local taxes, registrations and BIR obligations where applicable.
