About Jumper Media
Jumper Media helps local businesses dominate their markets through Local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, and AI-driven search strategies. We're growing quickly and are looking for an experienced Website Developer to help us deliver exceptional results while continuing to improve how we operate.
This is not a traditional full-stack app development role. If your experience is primarily in building massive web applications from scratch, this probably isn't the right fit. We're looking for someone who is passionate about fast-paced agency execution, technical SEO implementation, and keeping marketing campaigns unblocked.
About the Role
As a Website Developer, you'll be the technical engine that keeps our SEO campaigns moving. You will own the technical deployment and website maintenance across a portfolio of local businesses.
You'll work directly with the SEO team, troubleshoot CMS issues, and ensure we meet campaign launch dates consistently. If you're someone who enjoys highly organized workflows, takes pride in hitting internal time benchmarks, and knows how to optimize a local business website for peak performance, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do:
Execute technical SEO implementations, including schema markup, 301 redirects, and resolving errors flagged in Ahrefs and Google Search Console.
Build, format, and publish highly optimized landing pages and blog content without breaking existing site functionality.
Optimize website performance, specifically focusing on site speed and Core Web Vitals.
Troubleshoot and quickly resolve WordPress theme or plugin conflicts.
Manage web tasks across a portfolio of 9 to 12 local business clients simultaneously.
Collaborate seamlessly with the SEO team to eliminate delivery bottlenecks and complete deliverables on schedule.
What Success Looks Like:
Consistent, on-time project execution directly eliminates current delivery bottlenecks.
You consistently meet our internal time benchmarks across every task.
Campaign launch dates and deliverables are completed on schedule, every time.
Client websites experience improved speed, technical health, and user experience.
You successfully manage multiple client web projects while maintaining a high level of quality and organization.
What We're Looking For
Required Experience:
3+ years of web development experience specifically within a digital marketing or agency setting.
Deep, hands-on expertise in WordPress and modern page builders (Elementor, Divi, or Gutenberg).
Solid proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and foundational PHP.
Strong understanding of technical SEO best practices and site speed optimization.
Proven experience working on websites owned by local businesses.
Experience tracking time, managing task statuses, and working within internal SLAs.
Soft Skills:
Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a remote environment.
Highly organized and capable of managing a scaled workload without dropping the ball.
Confident problem-solver who doesn't need constant direction.
Collaborative and open to constructive feedback.
Strong communicator with teammates via Slack and video calls.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with other CMS platforms like Shopify, Wix, or Squarespace.
Familiarity with web infrastructure basics (cPanel, WP Engine, Cloudflare, and basic domain/DNS management).
Tools You'll Use:
WordPress
Slack
Ahrefs
Google Workspace
Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Google Tag Manager (GTM)
Google Search Console (GSC)
Google PageSpeed Insights / GTmetrix
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week). Requires 4 hours overlapping with US business hours, with the remaining 4 hours flexible.
