WE'RE HIRING: WEBSITE DESIGNER/ARCHITECT & PUBLICATIONS PROJECT MANAGER
Full-Time | Remote | Philippines
Salary: $1,500-$2,000 USD/month
Spiritus is an international Catholic sacred-music organization bringing together music, art, faith, ecology, and cultural heritage.
We are looking for an exceptional Website Designer/Architect & Publications Project Manager who combines outstanding visual taste, real website-building ability, and strong creative project-management skills.
This is an unusual "unicorn" role combining website design and architecture with publications and creative project management.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Website and Digital:
- Design and build beautiful, sophisticated website pages and digital experiences
- Help develop the Spiritus website and growing digital library
- Present music, recordings, photography, artwork, video, writing, and musical scores beautifully online
- Establish and maintain a coherent visual language across the website
- Organize large amounts of digital media and creative content
- Ensure excellent presentation on desktop and mobile
- Coordinate with specialist developers when advanced technical work is required
Publications and Creative Projects:
- Help manage a major 200-page commemorative art book documenting a sacred-music recording project in France
- Organize hundreds of photographs and visual assets
- Coordinate essays, texts, translations, captions, credits, and other materials
- Track what has been received, what is missing, and what requires approval
- Coordinate writers, photographers, editors, designers, and other contributors
- Manage revisions, deadlines, files, and creative assets
- Assist with CDs, CD booklets, digital and print publications, and other Spiritus creative projects
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Exceptional visual taste and design judgment
- Strong portfolio of websites you personally designed
- Ability to actually build websites, not only create mockups
- Strong WordPress, Webflow, Elementor, or comparable platform experience
- Excellent understanding of typography, layout, imagery, spacing, and visual hierarchy
- Strong project-management and organizational ability
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written English
- Strong communication and follow-through
- Ability to identify and solve problems independently
Experience with museums, cultural institutions, music, photography, books, architecture, sacred art, visual arts, or international creative projects is especially welcome.
Portfolio quality is one of the most important parts of the application.
