## Who we are

We run a growing TikTok Shop affiliate content brand built around wellness and beauty for women over 50. Our audience is real women navigating body changes, health, and confidence, and our content speaks directly to them with honesty and warmth, never gimmicks. We are building toward 5,000 followers and a steady rhythm of daily posting, and we need a sharp, reliable editor to help us keep that machine running every single day.

## What we're looking for

We need a remote video editor who can turn raw clips into polished, scroll stopping TikToks on a daily schedule. You will not be filming or writing scripts. We supply the raw footage and creative direction. Your job is to cut it, pace it, and package it so it is ready to post.

This role has two very different editing modes each day, and you need to be comfortable switching between them quickly.

## Job description

**Key responsibilities**

* Edit 1 short follow style video daily using our provided b roll, following our SOP. These are quick, 6 to 8 second final videos and should take you about 10 minutes each.
* Edit 1 TikTok Shop video daily. We supply the raw footage and overlay images. You will assemble, pace, and polish it. These take about 20 to 30 minutes each.
* Research and pull TikTok inspiration videos in our niche to help guide the style, pacing, and trends for our Shop videos, and organize them for our review.
* Deliver all 3 finished videos daily into a shared folder, ready for us to post, by a consistent daily deadline.
* Keep finished videos organized and clearly labeled so nothing gets lost or posted out of order.
* Flag anything unclear in the footage or direction right away instead of guessing.

**Qualifications, skills, and experience**

* Strong, demonstrable TikTok editing skills, ideally with CapCut.
* An eye for pacing, trends, and what actually stops the scroll on TikTok.
* Comfortable doing quick turnaround short edits and more detailed longer edits in the same day.
* Organized and dependable. You do not need to be told twice where a file goes.
* Able to research trends independently and bring back useful inspiration, not just anything that shows up first.
* Good written English for quick daily check ins.

## Rate and schedule

Because our video lengths and editing time vary quite a bit day to day, we are not setting a flat per video rate. Instead, tell us your rate expectations when you apply, and how you would structure it (hourly, daily, or another way that makes sense to you) given the workload described above.

Expected daily workload is about 1 to 2 hours total across all 3 videos.

Schedule is flexible and we will work out the specific days together with the right hire. This is not necessarily a strict 7 day a week commitment, but consistency matters a lot here, so we need someone who can commit to a steady, dependable cadence once we agree on it.

You do not need constant direction once you understand the style, and you notice small details, like a mistimed caption or an awkward cut, before anyone has to point them out. You are dependable enough that we do not have to wonder if the folder will be ready in the morning.

## Make sure you're comfortable with

Remote working. This is a work from home position. If you do not have a quiet space with reliable power and internet, this is not the right fit.

Daily deadlines. This is not a batch it once a week role. We need 3 finished videos every single day, on time, without reminders.

Switching gears quickly. You will move between a 10 minute quick edit and a 20 to 30 minute detailed edit in the same session.

Working from raw, sometimes imperfect footage. We are not professional videographers. You will need to make good footage out of what we give you, not wait for perfect clips.
