JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented vlog video editor to edit raw vlog footage into engaging, well-paced content. This role focuses on story flow, pacing, cuts, captions, and vibes — not heavy writing, but editing must be done in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

Edit raw vlog footage into polished videos
Cut for pacing, storytelling, and engagement
Remove dead space, mistakes, filler moments
Add light text overlays or captions (minimal wording)
Sync music and sound effects where needed
Apply basic color correction and audio cleanup
Format videos for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
Follow brand style and creator tone

Content Type:
Lifestyle / travel / day-in-the-life vlogs
Talking-to-camera footage
Short-form clips from long-form videos

Requirements:
Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve)
Experience editing vlogs or creator content
Excellent sense of timing, flow, and storytelling
Ability to follow examples and match a creator’s vibe
Reliable communication and turnaround times
English speaking

Nice to Have:
Experience with YouTube retention or TikTok pacing
Basic captioning for accessibility
Motion text or simple transitions

Average video length: 10-15 minutes
