Virtual Medical Assistant (US-Based Endocrinology Practice)
We are seeking a reliable and professional Virtual Medical Assistant based in the Philippines to support our busy US medical practice. Preferably, physicians or experienced healthcare professionals.
Position Type
Full-time preferred (Part-time applicants may be considered)
Work Schedule
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
1-hour lunch break
Responsibilities
- Answer patient messages in clear, professional English
- Respond to basic medical questions appropriately
- Triage patients based on urgency and route concerns correctly
- Send messages to the appropriate staff members or providers
- Assist with general administrative and clinical support tasks
Requirements
- Excellent written and spoken English (clear communication required)
- Prior experience working with a US-based medical company
- Experience in the medical field required (clinic, hospital, telehealth, etc.)
- Understanding of medical terminology and patient triage
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable handling confidential patient information
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems
- Background in endocrinology, primary care, or internal medicine
- Full-time availability during CST business hours
