We are a growing outpatient psychiatric wellness practice seeking an experienced Virtual Registered Nurse (RN) to provide remote clinical and administrative support to our providers.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented RN who is comfortable working independently, communicating professionally with patients, and supporting providers in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Complete prior authorizations (PAs) for medications and treatments
-Prepare and process FMLA, disability, work/school, and patient letter requests on behalf of providers
-Respond to patient clinical questions and concerns within scope, escalating to providers as appropriate
-Manage and respond to prescription refill requests and medication-related patient messages
-Assist with clinical documentation and charting support when needed
-Support providers (multiple clinicians) with additional clinical or administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
-Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
-Strong verbal and written English communication skills
-Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow provider-specific instructions
-Comfortable working remotely and maintaining strict patient confidentiality (HIPAA-compliant practices)
Preferred Experience:
-Prior experience in outpatient psychiatric settings strongly preferred
-Prior authorizations and insurance-related workflows with US based companies
-Familiarity with psychiatric medication workflows
-Experience supporting multiple providers simultaneously
Schedule & Growth:
-Available to work Monday - Friday from 9am to 6pm central time
