About the role
Virtual Medical Assistant – Patient Coordination, Referrals & Prior Authorizations
Position Type: Full-Time, Remote
Schedule: U.S. Business Hours

The ideal candidate will have experience working with electronic medical records, insurance referrals, prior authorizations, patient scheduling, and medical-office communication. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple patient requests and deadlines efficiently.

EMR Inbox and Patient
Portal Management
Waitlist and Cancellation Management
Required Qualifications

At least one year of medical administrative experience.
Experience working with U.S.-based medical practices.
Strong patient-service and telephone communication skills.
Excellent written and spoken English. Minimum Level C1 or higher.
Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
Reliable internet connection and a professional remote-work environment.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
