JOB OVERVIEW

Experience is a plus but not necessary - you will be trained on everything you need to know.
All Training Period Paid with Wage Increase depending on quality of work completed
Incomplete job application requests will be ignored

Job:
- customer service/speaking
- Data entry into the electronic health records
- Be able to look for information and put into electronic health records
- Rename and organize files and records
- Answer phone calls – taking detailed messages for doctors, checking phone messages daily
- Electronically fax documents to physicians and following up on results
- Work on prior authorizations – speaking to insurance companies if needed
- Schedule patients
- Making sure documents are all filled out correctly
- Complete insurance verification for each patient prior to their visit into clinic
- Obtain documentation requested by healthcare providers (test results or documentation not yet filed in records)
- Organize and research patient records, extract needed information, and review records for completeness, accuracy, and consistency within established guidelines
- Protect patient’s rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information

Must:
- Have good English skills
- Can talk on phone all day
- Multi-task, communicate effectively and work well with others
- Be a good teamplayer
- Well organized – organizing files into patient charts, working on

- whether you're looking for a full time job (8 hours a day) or part time job (4 hours a day)
