Virtual Hotel Front Desk & Guest Messaging Agent

We are hiring a **Virtual Hotel Front Desk & Guest Experience Agent** for a boutique hotel in New Orleans.

This is a remote position, but it is different from a typical virtual assistant job.

In addition to handling guest messages, the person selected will **appear live on a monitor at our hotel's front desk** and communicate with guests by video when assistance is needed.

## Responsibilities

* Respond to hotel guest messages quickly and professionally
* Assist guests before, during, and after their stays
* Answer questions about check-in, parking, access, Wi-Fi, amenities, and the property
* Resolve common guest problems independently
* Coordinate with on-site housekeeping and maintenance
* Monitor arrivals, departures, and active reservations
* Escalate urgent situations appropriately
* Communicate with guests LIVE through our virtual front-desk monitor
* Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on camera
* Document guest issues and follow through until they are resolved

Hotel, Airbnb, vacation-rental, ---------- , Expedia, front-desk, or hospitality experience is strongly preferred.

## Important

This is **NOT simply a chat-support position.**

You will sometimes be the **face of our hotel** and interact with guests LIVE through a monitor located at our front desk.

We need someone who is polished, personable, confident and capable of thinking independently.
