We’re a fast-growing media production company and podcast studio brand in the U.S. looking for a detail-oriented Virtual Bookkeeping Assistant to take ownership of keeping our books organized.
This role is ideal for someone who loves clean books, thrives in systems, and is comfortable supporting creative, service-based businesses with multiple income streams.
You’ll be responsible for keeping our finances accurate, up to date, and easy to understand — so our team can stay focused on growth, production, and client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate bookkeeping across multiple business entities
Categorize transactions and reconcile accounts (monthly minimum)
Track income streams (studio bookings, production services, retainers, events, etc.)
Track expenses, subscriptions, contractors, and recurring payments
Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, basic cash flow overview)
Flag discrepancies, missing transactions, or unusual expenses
Support clean handoff to our CPA for taxes and filings
Maintain organized financial records and documentation
Required Experience
2+ years of bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in Quickbooks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Clear communication and reliability

Currently we are looking to start immediately to help categorize 1099 contractors to get them ready to file before the end of January.
