JOB OVERVIEW

Want to work for a design studio owner who runs a group program, sells templates and builds brands and websites for wedding vendors?

Hi, I’m Alex, founder of Alexandra’s Archive, a brand and website design studio based in Sydney, Australia. I design brands and websites exclusively for wedding and event businesses.

I’m looking for a tech-minded, design-savvy VA to take on the behind-the-scenes work that’s easy for me to do but takes far too long: building pages, connecting systems, setting up email workflows, listing products and designing content. This frees me up to focus on my clients.

How This Works

Freelance, task-based role. Around 5 hours per week to start, with plenty of room to grow.
Working hours are flexible but around 9am - 6pm AEST.
I’ll send you tasks during the week with a deadline, and you complete them on your own schedule.

This is an internal, behind-the-scenes role. You won’t be communicating or working directly with my clients.

What You’ll Help With:

Website and tech

Build landing pages, opt-in pages and sales pages in Showit
Add freebie pop-ups, forms and embeds to my website
Set up and maintain automations in ---------- or Zapier
Monthly website checks: mobile view, broken links and form testing

Email marketing

Set up email workflows, nurture sequences and newsletters in MailerLite or similar platform
Connect new leads from my ads into email sequences
Set up onboarding and reminder emails for my group program

Digital product shop

Set up funnels, add-ons and abandoned cart emails for a Shopify store embedded in Showit
List and optimise my website templates on Etsy, including titles, tags, descriptions and listing images
Design product mockups and promotional content for each template
Create install guides and tutorial resources for template buyers (Google docs or live Showit pages with guides and links to tutorials)

Content and SEO

Design Instagram carousels and graphics in Canva from my scripts
Edit short-form videos with captions and effects (Edits, CapCut or similar)
Repurpose Instagram content into SEO-friendly blog posts and upload them to Showit
Turn finished website projects into portfolio pages, case study blogs and Pinterest pins
On-page SEO tasks: image file names, alt text, meta descriptions, sitemap submission and Google Business Profile updates

Studio admin and prep

Prepare website research before my calls and audits (screenshots, speed tests, mobile checks)
Build reusable Canva and Showit templates for my design deliverables
Layout brand guidelines and strategy documents in Indesign using my templates
Write step-by-step SOPs from my Loom videos

You Must Have

Hands-on experience with Showit (please share examples)
Experience setting up email automations in MailerLite or similar
Strong Canva skills and a good eye for design: spacing, fonts and brand consistency
A problem-solving brain. You enjoy figuring out how tech connects and can find answers on your own.
Excellent written English and strong attention to detail
Reliable internet and your own computer

Bonus Skills

Shopify and Etsy (especially digital products and Etsy SEO)
