You must include your portfolio or an example of your editing capabilities to get accepted for this job.
Also, you must read the whole job post as we will be checking for this in the applications.
Lastly, if you have examples of youtube scripts that you've written before please link them and it will give you a better chance of getting the job.
We're looking for a long-term tea
Also someone who can take over tasks that require a deep understanding of what works well on youtube, such as making youtube video scripts that actual hook the viewer in and feel natural, putting together clips to make videos, video idea research, and potentially even making thumbnails if qualified.
We're not expecting advanced animation or super high-level editing, although that would be a plus, and we would pay a different rate for that.
However for this role, what matters most is:
1. Your English comprehension
2. Knowing how to keep a viewer engaged with simple edits, and at least able to edit like this: (link removed)
3. Being able to understand more complex topics like options trading and ecommerce
4. Attention to detail, and ability to make videos feel clean, smooth, and natural by cutting out mistakes, and unnecessary parts
About Us:
We are a YouTube content management agency that works with finance-focused creators (topics like options trading, eCommerce, etc.). We help creators produce, edit, and scale their content.
We’re a small, tight-knit team, and I work closely 1-on-1 with everyone.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Editing talking-head style and screenshare YouTube videos
2. Using tools like Descript for auto-cutting and whatever video editor software you normally use
3. Watching through full videos and:
3a. Cutting out mistakes, pauses, and mess-ups
3b. Keeping what sounds natural and flows well
3c. Making edits feel clean, simple, and professional
4. Assisting with:
4a. YouTube script creation (using ChatGPT)
4b. Basic content structuring for videos
4c. Occasionally helping with presentations for videos
5. If there are no projects, you will be asked to take clips of old videos to and rearrange them to make a new video (this will be explained during training). Essentially, the content we can make is unlimited so you can get as much work as you want with this method of recycling and making new content.
What we're Looking For:
Very strong English almost like a native (one of the most important things)
You must be able to tell what sounds natural vs. awkward in videos so you know what to cut out and what to keep in
Basic video editing skills:
You don’t need advanced effects or animations
But you must have a good sense of clean editing and pacing
Ability to understand (or quickly learn) topics like:
Options trading
eCommerce
Fast learner who can pick up systems and workflows quickly
Good communication habits:
Respond quickly
Ask questions
Stay in touch consistently
On your application to this post, make the first line "I read the entire job post" so that I know you read the job post fully.

At first, not constant work every day, but you should be available when projects come in
If you prove you're capable of the job work will become consistent

Growth Opportunity
This is not just a basic VA role.
If you do well:
Pay will increase as you take on more complex tasks
You can grow into:
Managing multiple clients

If you’re someone who:
Understands content deeply

And wants to grow long-term
Then this is a great opportunity.
Do not use chatgpt for your response as we are able to detect that, and we want to see your English skills from your job application.
