JOB OVERVIEW

#Overview

I am seeking a medical research position in the United States (Research Fellow / Research Assistant)

I am hiring a highly detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to identify suitable academic institutions and conduct fully customized, institution-specific outreach and applications on my behalf.

This role requires precision, research ability, and structured execution. Mass emailing is not acceptable.

## Core Responsibilities

### 1?? Institutional Research

For each targeted institution, you will:

* Review the department website (Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Pulmonology, etc.)
* Identify ongoing research programs
* Identify principal investigators aligned with my background
* Review recent publications (PubMed / Google Scholar)
* Assess whether the institution sponsors research visas

Deliverable:
Build a structured database with detailed notes per institution.

### 2?? Tailored Physician Outreach

For each physician contacted:

* Review 1–2 recent publications
* Identify their research focus
* Draft a customized email referencing:

* Specific study or research theme
* How my background aligns
* Why their institution is specifically relevant

Emails must be:

* Personalized
* Concise
* Academically appropriate
* Non-generic

No templates copied blindly.

Target: 15–25 high-quality tailored emails per day.

### 3?? Tailored Application Submission

For each formal job application:

* Customize cover letter to institution mission and research focus
* Align CV emphasis with department priorities
* Ensure correct formatting and document submission
* Track submission confirmations

### 4?? Pipeline & Follow-Up Management

* Structured follow-up 7–10 days after outreach
* Track all responses
* Highlight positive responses immediately
* Maintain weekly performance dashboard

## Required Skills

* Excellent written English
* Experience with academic research environments
* Ability to analyze publications and extract key themes
* Strong analytical and organizational skills
* High attention to detail

Preferred:

* Background in healthcare or biomedical research
* Experience working with physicians or IMGs

## Performance Metrics

* Number of fully researched institutions
* Number of tailored emails sent
* Response rate
* Interviews secured

This role is quality-driven, not volume-driven.

## Compensation

* Base + 75$ performance bonus per interview secured,
* $400 upon written offer
* $300 upon DS-2019 issuance

Shortlisted candidates will complete a small paid trial:
Review one physician and draft a tailored outreach email.
