JOB OVERVIEW

Virtual Assistant – Social Media & Video Editing (Short + Long Form Storytelling)
Rate: $5-7/hour (15-20 hours/week to start, with potential to grow)
Type: Remote, long-term position
Location: Philippines (English fluency required)

We are looking for a creative, reliable Social Media & Video Editing Virtual Assistant who can manage content creation and editing across platforms — from quick, trending Reels to longer micro-documentary style videos.

Responsibilities
Short-form video editing: Create engaging Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts with captions, trending audio, and effects.
Long-form storytelling: Edit docu-style/micro-documentary videos (interviews, brand storytelling, event recaps) for YouTube and Facebook.
Repurpose long videos into multiple short clips for social media.
Create eye-catching thumbnails, graphics, and visuals (using Canva/Photoshop).
Write short, inspiring captions with proper hashtags.
Schedule and post content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
Monitor comments/messages and respond professionally.
Track engagement metrics and prepare simple weekly reports.

Requirements
Strong English communication (written & spoken).
Proven video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve).
Experience with both short-form content and longer micro-documentary style editing.
Ability to craft stories with pacing, music, subtitles, and visuals.
Familiar with Canva or other design tools for social graphics.
Organized, detail-oriented, and responsive.
Reliable internet connection and backup plan.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Knowledge of social media growth trends, storytelling hooks, and algorithms, viral trends
Experience working with inspirational, lifestyle, or fashion content.
Familiarity with scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or Later).
