Virtual Assistant - Luxury Wedding Photography Studio | Vancouver & Toronto

JOB OVERVIEW

Join a luxury wedding photography studio where your exceptional writing skills, AI expertise, and design eye will directly impact how we connect with high-end clients across North America and beyond.

Your Role

You'll support the creative and business side of EightTwoFour—a boutique wedding photography brand known for authentic storytelling and editorial-style work. You'll help with client outreach, content creation, pitch deck design, and website management to keep our brand polished and our pipeline full.

What You'll Actually Do

- Design and modify pitch decks and sales presentations (they need to look polished and professional)
- Write and send customized emails to potential clients and leads
- Write blog posts about weddings, photography, travel, destinations, and business
- Post and format blog content on our Squarespace website
- Help with client communication and general admin tasks
- Assist with social media content planning and execution

- Blog posts published weekly with strong, engaging, error-free writing

- If you see a gap or inefficiency, you fix it or flag it

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable):

- 5+ years full-time VA experience with English-speaking clients
- Top-tier English reading and writing skills—this is the #1 requirement. Your writing must be clear, engaging, professional, and flawless. If you're not confident your English is excellent, this role isn't a fit.
- Extensive experience using ChatGPT and Claude—you should be comfortable prompting, editing AI outputs, and using AI tools daily to work faster and smarter
- Design experience—you need an eye for making things look polished (pitch decks, emails, social posts). Experience with Canva or similar tools is required.
- Marketing experience—content writing, email campaigns, or social media
- Comfortable with Google Docs, Google Sheets, Gmail
- Strong internet connection and backup options
- Available during Vancouver business hours (10:30 AM–6:30 PM PST)

Nice to Have:

- Experience with Squarespace (helpful but we can teach you)
- Background in wedding, creative, or luxury industries
