Virtual Assistant – Home Health Staffing Agency

We are a growing U.S.-based home health staffing agency looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support our daily operations. This role is ideal for someone with prior home health experience who is highly organized, communicates clearly, and can manage scheduling, documentation, and administrative tasks with accuracy.

Position Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
Hours: 8 hours per day
Location: Remote
Industry: Home Health / Healthcare Staffing

Responsibilities:
Assign and schedule patient cases to therapists
Communicate professionally with therapists, partner agencies, and internal team members
Track, update, and maintain accurate data in Excel and Google Sheets
Assist with document management, PDF forms, and administrative paperwork
Follow up on pending documentation, visit updates, and case-related information
Support home health operations, staffing coordination, billing support, and other administrative tasks as needed
Maintain organized records and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time

Requirements
Prior home health experience is required
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organized, accurate, dependable, and detail-oriented
Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities at the same time
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
Experience using Adobe Acrobat for PDFs, forms, and document editing
Comfortable communicating professionally by email, messaging, and phone when needed
Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and follow instructions carefully
Familiarity with healthcare documentation, EMR systems, billing, staffing, or therapist scheduling is strongly preferred

The ideal candidate has experience working in home health or healthcare administration and understands the importance of accurate documentation, timely communication, and organized follow-up. We are looking for someone dependable, proactive, and comfortable supporting a fast-moving healthcare operations team.
