## About the Role
We run a portfolio of businesses operated largely by AI agents. We are hiring an experienced media buyer whose job is not to run our ad accounts manually — it is to **teach our AI agents how to run them**. You will document your knowledge as step-by-step processes (SOPs), train the agent through examples and feedback, review its campaign plans and decisions, and refine its instructions until it can create, launch, analyze, and continuously improve advertising on Google Ads and Meta
This is a role for someone who has spent real budgets and can explain *why* campaigns win or die, not just how to click through Ads Manager.
## What You'll Do
- Design the end-to-end advertising workflow (campaign setup ? tracking ? creative briefing & testing ? analysis ? optimization decisions) as clear, written SOPs an AI agent can follow
- Turn your optimization instincts into explicit decision rules with real thresholds: when to kill, scale, iterate, or wait
- Train the agent by reviewing its campaign plans, ad copy, creative briefs, and optimization decisions — approving, correcting, and explaining your reasoning
- Build pass/fail checklists for launches, tracking verification, and ad policy compliance on both platforms
- Monitor early campaign performance and translate learnings into updated agent instructions
## Required Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on media buying on BOTH Google Ads and Meta Ads with real budgets (be ready to state ranges)
- Deep knowledge of conversion tracking: pixel/tags, Google Tag Manager, Conversions API, event verification
- A structured creative testing methodology — not "post and pray"
- Fluency in the numbers: ROAS, CPA, CTR, frequency, CPM — and explicit rules for acting on them
- Knowledge of ad policies and what gets accounts restricted or banned on each platform
- Excellent written English — this role is mostly writing instructions and feedback
- Comfortable working with AI tools; you'll be teaching one
## Nice to Have
- Experience briefing or generating ad creatives with AI tools
- Experience recovering restricted ad accounts
- Experience writing SOPs or training junior media buyers
## How We Work
Remote and mostly async. You'll communicate in written English via chat and short documents. Flexible hours with some overlap for check-ins.

## Application Questionnaire (required)
Please answer all questions in English. Short, specific answers beat long generic ones.
1. Describe the largest ad account you've personally managed: platform(s), monthly budget range, vertical, your role, and results (ranges are fine, be specific about what YOU did).
2. Walk us through how you'd launch a campaign for a brand-new product on Meta, step by step — objectives, audiences, budget split, creative volume, and what you check on days 1, 3, and 7.
3. What exact metrics and thresholds do you use to d
4. Describe your conversion tracking setup: which tools, in what order, and how you verify events fire correctly before scaling spend.
5. Have you ever had an ad account restricted or banned (yours or a client's)? What happened and what did you change afterward?
6. Imagine you must teach a very literal-minded new employee to write Meta ad primary text. Write the exact rules you would give them (5–10 lines).
