About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, organized Virtual Assistant who can handle admin work, cold calling, lead follow-ups, and receptionist/secretary tasks for a growing electrical contracting company.
Experience using Housecall Pro is a BIG plus, and candidates with CRM experience in home-service industries (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, handyman) will be prioritized.
This is a long-term position with consistent work.
Main Responsibilities
1. Virtual Assistant & Admin Tasks
Use Housecall Pro to schedule jobs, estimates, and follow-ups
Update customer information and job notes
Send estimates, invoices, and payment follow-ups
Manage
Keep digital files organized and updated
Assist with online postings and basic social media replies
Create simple documents, reports, and forms
2. Receptionist / Secretary Duties
Answer customer calls, texts, and
Gather job details and pre-qualify service requests
Confirm appointments and send reminder messages through Housecall Pro
Provide outstanding customer service with a friendly, professional tone
3. Cold Calling & Follow-Up Tasks
Call new leads, referral lists, and past customers
Follow up on open estimates and proposals inside Housecall Pro
Call after job completion to request reviews (Google, FB, etc.)
Cold call homeowner lists or local service inquiries
Log all calls, notes, and results accurately
Requirements
Excellent English (spoken & written)
Strong, confident phone voice
VERY organized and detail-oriented
Experience as a VA, CSR, appointment setter, or call center agent
Reliable internet and a quiet work environment
Ability to follow procedures and work independently
Strongly Preferred:
Experience with Housecall Pro
Experience in home services (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, handyman)
Strong customer service or sales background
Work Hours
Must be available during U.S. Eastern Time (Florida) business hours
Full-time or part-time depending on your availability
