Job title: Virtual Assistant for Surplus Funds Skip Tracing and Lead Research
Position: Part time
Starting pay: $5/hour, 10hr/week + $100--$150 monthly performance bonus
Review of efficiency in 60-90 days with potential salary review
Schedule: 10 hours per week, potential for increase of work hours if desired

About the position:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to assist with researching surplus funds/overages from property tax sales, foreclosure sales, sheriff sales and related property records.

Main duties:
Identify potential claimants, and accurately locate and verify their current contact information

Responsibilities:
-Research official records for surplus and excess proceeds
-Identify former property owners and potential claimants
-Conduct skip tracing and locate current contact information
-Research current and previous addresses
-Locate and verify phone numbers and email addresses
-Research deceased property owners and potential heir information
-Cross-check information using multiple reliable sources
-Enter and maintain accurate information on spreadsheets, and in future CRM systems
-Document the source of all research
-Identify duplicate, questionable or incomplete leads
-Maintain strict confidentiality of company information

Qualifications
-Previous skip-tracing experience, Preferred
-Experience with U.S. public records, Preferred
-Strong internet search skills
-Excellent attention to details
-Good written English
-Ability to work independently or with minimal assistance
-Comfortable working with spreadsheets and databases
Experience with Google Sheets, Excel and (In future CRM)
-Ability to follow detailed procedure
-Reliable Internet connection and computer

Preferred Experience
-Skip tracing
-Research (Tax-sale, Foreclosure, Public-records, Probate/Heir research)
-Lead generation
(In future, CRM management)

Compensation
Starting salary $ 5/hour, 10 h/wk, and potential increase based on performance
Additional $100--$150 monthly performance bonus

Bonus
This could depend on:
Number of qualified cases researched
Accuracy of skip-tracing information
Percentage of leads with verified contact information
Timely completion

SUMMARY:
The position involves Researching and Administrative tasks.
There will be no phone calls to claimants or any outside organization by the VA for now
