Virtual Assistant (Full-Time – 40 Hours per Week, Remote)

Key Responsibilities:
???? Calendar & Schedule Management
Organize and prioritize meetings, speaking engagements, and church commitments
Ensure seamless coordination between Metropolitan UMC, The Beacon Center, and leadership coaching/speaking engagements
Proactively manage conflicts and send reminders
???? Administrative Support for The Beacon Center
Assist with grant applications, reporting deadlines, and donor communications
Maintain accurate records and track funding updates to support sustainability efforts
Prepare reports and maintain organized documentation
???? Communication & Correspondence
Draft and manage
Ensure timely responses and keep key conversations organized
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications
???? Event & Travel Coordination
Plan logistics for church events, community programs, speaking engagements, and meetings
Handle travel arrangements, accommodations, and itineraries when needed
Ensure seamless execution of events
???? Project & Task Management
Oversee progress on key initiatives like Next Steps, the Green Jobs Program, and new church service planning
Track action items, set deadlines, and follow up to ensure execution
Provide status updates and organize project documentation

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
???? Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar, etc.)
???? Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Trello, Slack) is a plus
???? Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
???? Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
???? Self-motivated and resourceful with excellent attention to detail
???? Experience managing high-level administrative tasks
Work Hours & Expectations:
40 Hours per week
Must be available for scheduled meetings and quick responses during working hours
A stable internet connection and a professional work environment are required
