JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role:
We're looking for a talented Videographer and Video Editor to create engaging, visually appealing videos for our YouTube channel and social media platforms. You'll be responsible for editing raw footage, adding compelling graphics and animations, selecting relevant imagery, and creating seamless jump cuts to maximize viewer engagement and retention.

Responsibilities:

* Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging, and concise videos suitable for YouTube and social media platforms.

* Utilize creative jump cuts and pacing techniques to ensure dynamic and captivating videos.

* Add visually appealing graphics, text overlays, and animations to enhance video storytelling.

* Select and incorporate appropriate photos and visuals to complement video content effectively.

* Collaborate closely with our content team to understand the narrative and objective of each video.

* Continuously review video performance metrics to improve future edits and audience engagement.

* Maintain brand consistency across all video outputs.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience in videography and video editing, especially for YouTube or social media.

* Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects, or similar tools.

* Strong graphic design skills for creating thumbnails, graphics, and simple animations.

* Excellent storytelling ability and understanding of pacing, viewer engagement, and audience retention.

* Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

* Creative mindset with an eye for detail and visual aesthetics.

Preferred:

* Experience working with personal brands, educational content, or engaging content in wellness, coaching, or therapy sectors.

* Knowledge of YouTube analytics and content optimization strategies.
