JOB OVERVIEW

I am a financial professional and content creator building a financial wellness ecosystem that blends money, mindset, lifestyle, and fitness.

I am looking for a skilled video editor to help produce:

1 long-form YouTube video per week (15–20 minutes)
5–10 short-form clips (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook)

Content will include:

Talking head educational videos (finance, mindset, behavioral finance)
Lifestyle and fitness content (workouts, daily routines, real-life ---------- nts, and on-camera insights)

I need an editor who can take both structured educational content and more dynamic lifestyle footage and turn it into engaging, high-quality, story-driven content.

This is not basic editing. I’m looking for someone who understands:

Pacing and retention
Storytelling across both long-form and short-form content
When to use (and not overuse) graphics, captions, sound effects, and music

Responsibilities:

Edit weekly long-form YouTube videos (talking head style)
Identify and create engaging short-form clips from long videos
Edit lifestyle/fitness footage into engaging short-form content for social media
Add captions, graphics, zooms, B-roll, and visual elements where appropriate
Maintain a consistent and premium editing style across all content
Collaborate and improve the editing style over time

Important:

I will be interviewing multiple candidates
Final candidates will complete a paid sample edit
Strong communication, creativity, and reliability are essential

Opportunity:
This role will start part-time but has strong potential to become full-time as content production scales.
