WHO ARE WE
We're a weight loss company that publishes educational long-form videos on YouTube.
Our video editors build complete storyboards in Canva — every scene, every visual, every piece of text is already d
You will NOT be asked to make creative decisions about storytelling, pacing, or structure. Those are already handled. What we need is someone who can take a clear plan and execute it reliably, on time, at a consistent quality bar.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Animate 10–15 minute video storyboards created by our editors in Canva
- Build motion graphics: text animations, transitions, object movement, simple infographic animation, lower thirds
- Work directly with our video editors through Slack and
- Deliver first cuts on schedule and turn around revision rounds quickly
- Build and maintain a library of reusable animation templates so our output gets faster over time
- Flag questions early when a storyboard instruction is unclear — we'd much rather answer a question on day one than get a wrong cut on day four
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You'll report to our video editors and communicate with them daily via Slack. They will hand you storyboards and review your cuts in
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of motion graphics / animation experience
- Strong proficiency in After Effects (required). Premiere Pro a plus.
- Comfortable working from Canva storyboards or similar visual briefs
- Reliable internet and a computer that can handle After Effects without constant crashes
- Written English strong enough to ask clear questions and explain where you're stuck
- Available for consistent full-time work — this is your main job, not a side project
Nice to have
- Experience animating for YouTube specifically (you understand retention-focused editing)
- Experience with
- Ability to create simple custom illustrations or icons when the storyboard calls for something not in the asset library
WHAT WE CARE ABOUT MOST
Reliability over flash. We would rather have someone who hits every deadline with solid, clean animation than someone with a stunning reel who disappears for three days.
Communication. If you're stuck, confused, or running late — tell us immediately. We will never penalize you for raising a problem early. We will lose confidence fast if problems surface only at the deadline.
Consistency. Our videos should look like they came from the same studio every week.
HOW TO APPLY
Please send:
- Your portfolio — link to 2–3 videos you personally worked on.
- A short answer to this question: You receive a storyboard where one scene says "show the customer's progress over 12 weeks" but there's no data or specific visual provided. What do you do? (2–3 sentences is fine.)
- Your availability — hours per week and your working hours in Philippine time.
- Start the subject line or first line of your application with the word "STORYBOARD" so we know you read this posting in full.
- Your price to animate 1 minute of this storyboard:
- Pages 2-23 of this storyboard:
- A-roll - you'll need to cut the intro and start where Section 1 storyboard starts:
- Graphic assets:
If I reply and give you the green light, you can proceed to animate 1 minute of the storyboard after that.
