Job Title

Full Time Short Form Video Editor (Reels) With Film B Roll Sourcing

Overview

We are hiring a full time editor to produce high performing short form reels built around our talking head recordings, with B roll sourced from well known movies that visually match the story, emotion, and meaning of the script. This is not a basic cutting job. The output must match a specific pacing, caption style, and overall “feel” that we will provide via a reference video.

What You Will Edit

You will receive a raw recording of our founder speaking to camera. Your job is to turn that into a finished reel by layering in movie B roll that reinforces the message, then adding our captions in a very specific, consistent style.

Output Expectations

You will deliver a minimum of 60 reels per month. There may be additional ad edits later, up to 1 per week, but those will not start immediately.

Core Responsibilities

You will source B roll clips from famous movies that match the script meaning, tone, and emotion, and you will build a clean, fast paced narrative with strong retention. You will edit and time captions exactly as provided, using our required caption style with zero deviations. You will assemble the final reel in 9:16 format with correct pacing, sound design, and overall polish. You will maintain an organised B roll library so sourcing becomes faster over time and we are not re finding the same types of scenes repeatedly. You will deliver consistently and communicate clearly on progress, questions, and revisions.

Required Skills

You must be a strong short form editor with proven reels or TikTok work. You must be excellent at storytelling through B roll selection, not just transitions. You must be highly detail oriented because caption formatting and timing must match our reference exactly. You must work fast without quality drop and be able to hit volume targets. You must be fluent in English and able to interpret script meaning and emotion accurately. You must have strong organisation habits for file naming, folders, and project management.

Software

Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or CapCut is fine as long as you can match the reference output consistently and export correctly for Instagram Reels.

Include 1 to 2 sentences confirming you can source movie style B roll to match a script, and that you can replicate caption style precisely. If you are shortlisted, we will ask you to complete a paid test edit using our raw clip and the reference video.

Compensation

Competitive and based on experience, speed, and quality. This is a full time role with long term potential if you consistently hit the quality bar and monthly output.
