ABOUT THE ROLE
We run a high-volume, automated YouTube Shorts media network. We are hiring a meticulous, detail-obsessed Operations & QA Specialist to act as the final quality gatekeeper before videos go live.

You will not edit videos. Your sole responsibility is to inspect batches of finished Shorts from our freelance editors, reject any flaws with exact timestamps, schedule approved uploads in YouTube Studio, and keep our Google Sheets production tracker completely updated.

If you have a sharp eye for visual/audio glitches and can firmly hold editors to high standards, this is a consistent, low-stress, long-term role.

---

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Quality Control & Asset Review
• Review submitted .mp4 files at 1.0x playback speed during shift hours.
• Identify and reject common production defects: caption sync delays, audio clipping, pacing lag, frame drops, distorted AI anatomy/warping, and improper safe-zone boundaries.
• Provide clear, objective, timestamped revision notes to editors in real time.

2. YouTube Studio Management & Scheduling
• Upload approved Shorts to YouTube Studio with clean curiosity-driven titles.
• Complete monetization self-certification and accurately link related video elements.
• Schedule releases to exact GMT+8 publishing slots (11:30 and 19:30 / 21:30).

3. Pipeline & Tracker Coordination
• Log all pass/reject statuses and scheduling checkboxes in our master Google Sheet tracker.
• Monitor batch turnaround times (7 videos per batch) and escalate unexcused editor delays.
• Immediately delete any upload triggering an automated age restriction, red monetization flag, or community strike.

---

REQUIREMENTS
• Flawless written English and direct, assertive communication.
• Proven hands-on experience navigating YouTube Studio (uploading, metadata, self-certification, scheduling).
• High-performance computer and stable, high-speed internet capable of streaming 2K/4K video without buffering or stutter.
• Strict punctuality: You must be live, active, and responsive inside our communication channels every Wednesday and Sunday between 20:00 and 22:00 GMT+8.

---

HOW TO APPLY (Read Carefully)
Generic, copy-pasted, or AI-generated applications will be deleted immediately without review. To confirm attention to detail, start your application with the word "BLUE" as your very first word.

To apply, send a message answering these three questions:

1. What are the two most common technical mistakes editors make when formatting captions and aspect ratios for YouTube Shorts?

2. Briefly describe your experience managing YouTube Studio and maintaining Google Sheets production trackers.

3. Confirm that your system can smoothly play back 1440x2560 (9:16) video and that you are 100% available every Wednesday and Sunday from 20:00 to 22:00 GMT+8.
