Job Posting: Video Production VA (Monster Truck Engineering)
**Company:** Aldrick Machines
**Location:** Remote
**Focus:** High-end, technical documentary-style YouTube content
**About the Role**
We are looking for a specialized Video Production Virtual Assistant to help produce long-form (20–30 minute) content for Aldrick Machines. This channel focuses on the "Math of Carnage"—exploring the high-stakes engineering, mechanical failures, and financial costs of monster truck racing. You will turn detailed scripts into "B-Roll / Archive / Motion GFX" masterpieces.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Video Assembly: Edit 22–25 minute documentaries using archival footage and motion graphics—no face-to-camera footage required.
2. Mechanical Visualization: Create and overlay 3D exploded views of engines, blueprint GFX, and thermal heat maps to explain technical failures.
3. The "Cost Ticker": Maintain a bottom-corner "Repair Cost" ticker that anchors the viewer to the financial stakes during failure stories.
4. High-Retention Pacing: Execute fast-paced editing with cuts every 3–5 seconds and "Pattern Interrupts" every 20–40 seconds to maximize watch time.
5. Scientific Overlay: Accurately integrate physics formulas, such as $$F = \frac{\Delta p}{\Delta t}$$, during deep-dive segments.
**Required Skills and Software**
1. AI Integration: Use Gemini to refine B-roll descriptions and generate technical visual assets.
2. Video Editing: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
3. Motion Graphics: Ability to create high-contrast text overlays and technical diagrams.
4. Sound Design: Mastery of "Metallic Sound Design" for gritty, industrial transitions and GFX cues.
5. Shorts Production: Extract 5–10 viral YouTube Shorts from each long-form episode, complete with hooks and on-screen captions.
**What We Provide**
1. Full 2,500+ word scripts with timestamps and detailed visual directions.
2. Aldrick Machines brand assets and logo packages.
3. Complete SEO packages (Titles, Tags, Chapters) for every project.
**How to Apply:**
Please submit a portfolio showing examples of technical or mechanical video editing. We are specifically looking for editors who can balance gritty industrial aesthetics with clean, informative motion graphics. Mention your experience using AI to streamline production.
Please include how many videos you estimate you will be able to create each week.
