ABOUT THE ROLE
Alloy is a growth partner for association management companies across the U.S. We’re looking for a
Video Production Specialist to join our team and produce high-volume, polished video content
across a range of formats—from marketing campaigns to educational content to social media.
You’ll be our go-to person for all things video. That means you should be just as comfortable editing
a talking-head interview as you are assembling a complex piece with mixed assets like motion
graphics, screen recordings, and slide-based visuals. Because we work with multiple clients across
different industries and brand voices, you’ll need to adapt your style and creative approach to match
each client’s tone, aesthetic, and audience.
This is not a “wait for footage” role. Our clients rarely have existing video assets, so you’ll need to be
a resourceful creator who can build compelling content from scratch using stock footage, AI-
generated media, motion graphics, and original assets. You’ll work alongside strategists and account
managers who handle ideation and client relationships, but you’ll have significant creative ownership
over how content comes to life.
WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON
• Marketing videos — promotional content, brand storytelling, product explainers, and
campaign assets
• Talking-head videos — clean, professional edits with dynamic pacing, lower thirds, b-roll
cutaways, and branded overlays
• Webinar and presentation edits — transforming raw webinar recordings and slide decks
into polished, engaging content
• E-course and learning content — lesson videos for online courses, including multi-format
edits that blend talking head, slides, screen captures, and graphics
• Social media clips — short-form vertical and horizontal cuts optimized for Instagram,
TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
• Mixed-asset production — assembling final videos from a variety of source materials
including talking-head footage, motion graphics, static graphics, and audio tracks
• Stock footage and AI-generated content — sourcing, curating, and creatively repurposing
stock footage and AI-generated visuals to build narratives when original footage is
unavailable
• Template and asset library management — maintaining organized project files, branded
templates, and reusable asset libraries to support high-volume output without sacrificing
quality
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Have
• Proven experience in video production and post-production, with a portfolio that
demonstrates range across multiple video formats
Adobe Creative Suite proficiency:
– Premiere Pro — your primary editing environment
– After Effects — for motion graphics, compositing, and visual polish
– Photoshop — for asset creation, thumbnail design, and graphic prep
– Audition — for audio cleanup, mixing, and mastering
AI video tool fluency — you actively use AI-powered tools (e.g., Runway, Descript, HeyGen,
ElevenLabs, Opus Clip, CapCut, Pika, or similar) to accelerate production without sacrificing quality.
This is a major requirement—we want someone who is already integrating AI into their workflow, not
just curious about it.
• Familiarity with AI-powered research and scripting workflows (e.g., Google NotebookLM,
Claude, ChatGPT) for content development and scripting support
• Demonstrated ability to build polished video content from stock footage, screen recordings,
and limited source material—you don’t wait for perfect assets to start creating
• Strong eye for quality—every deliverable should feel polished and professional, whether it’s
a 15-second social clip or a 45-minute course module
• Ability to work with mixed media—comfortable combining talking-head footage, motion
graphics, static slides, screen recordings, and audio into cohesive final products
• Strong eye for pacing, color grading, typography, and sound design
• Comfortable working across formats: horizontal (YouTube/web), vertical
(Reels/TikTok/Shorts), and square (social)
• Reliable communication and availability—responsive, proactive, and comfortable working
asynchronously across time zones
Nice-to-Have
• Animation skills (2D motion design, character animation, kinetic typography, Lottie, etc.)
• Experience with color grading and advanced audio design
• Familiarity with YouTube optimization (thumbnails, chapters, end screens)
• Experience producing content for marketing funnels or growth campaigns
• Experience in an agency or white-label environment serving multiple brands
• Familiarity with the HOA, property management, or real estate industry
• Basic knowledge of SEO and social media distribution strategies for video content
• Experience with DaVinci Resolve or other editing platforms
• Illustration, graphic design, or 3D motion skills
• Ability to work from creative briefs with minimal hand-holding
WHAT WE OFFER
• Fully remote position with flexible scheduling
• The opportunity to shape a growing creative function from the ground up
• A collaborative, low-ego team that values speed, quality, and resourcefulness
• Exposure to a wide variety of client industries and creative challenges
• Room to grow as our video capabilities expand across the client portfolio
HOW TO APPLY
Please submit:
1. Your portfolio or showreel — we want to see range. Include examples of talking-head
edits, mixed-asset videos, social clips, and any course/webinar content you’ve produced.
Bonus points for work where you built something compelling without much source material.
2. A brief note on your AI workflow — tell us which AI tools you use, how you use them, and
how they’ve improved your speed or output quality.
3. Your availability and preferred working hours.
We value speed, quality, and creative problem-solving. If you’re someone who’s constantly leveling
up your toolkit and can deliver professional-grade video content efficiently, we’d love to hear from
you.
4. 2–3 minute video intro (Loom or Drive link)
5. Please share your video portfolio
