I’m looking for a detail-oriented QA tester / game designer to help test and refine a roguelike indie game currently in active development.
You’ll play early builds, break systems, find edge cases, and give structured feedback that improves stability, clarity, and overall game feel.
What You’ll Be Testing
Core gameplay systems and combat mechanics
Abilities, status effects, and progression systems
Enemy behavior and encounter balance
UI clarity, feedback, and player flow
Bugs, exploits, softlocks, and unintended interactions
You won’t just report bugs. You’ll help improve pacing, clarity, and the overall player experience.
What I’m Looking For
Experience testing games, mods, or interactive systems
Strong attention to detail and structured feedback skills
Ability to clearly document reproduction steps
Comfort working with early builds and evolving systems
Good intuition for balance, difficulty, and fairness
Bonus if you enjoy roguelikes, systems-heavy games, or challenging combat design.
Project-based with potential for ongoing work (2-4 hours per day)
