JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a detail-oriented Video Game Catalogue & Pricing Specialist to maintain and update our product catalogues across Roblox, Path of Exile, Diablo, and other online games.

Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that every listed item, currency, service, variation, and price remains accurate and competitive. This is a daily operational role requiring consistent market research, strong gaming knowledge, and exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities
Review and update prices across all assigned games every day
Maintain accurate catalogues of currencies, items, equipment, services, and other game-specific products
Research current market prices using approved marketplaces, competitor websites, community resources, and in-game data
Compare market pricing against acquisition costs, availability, and required profit margins
Identify products that are overpriced, underpriced, unavailable, outdated, or missing
Add newly released items, currencies, game modes, seasons, leagues, servers, and platforms
Remove or deactivate obsolete and unavailable products
Maintain correct product names, images, descriptions, categories, quantities, and variations
Ensure products are assigned to the correct game, platform, server, region, league, season, and game mode
Distinguish between similarly named items and game-specific variants
Monitor game updates, patches, expansions, seasonal resets, and marketplace changes that may affect pricing or demand
Maintain internal pricing spreadsheets, trackers, and change logs
Document the sources and reasoning behind significant price changes
Report unusual price movements, supply shortages, new opportunities, and potential catalogue errors
Coordinate with suppliers, fulfillment staff, customer-service agents, and management when availability or pricing is unclear
Conduct routine catalogue audits to ensure customers are seeing accurate and purchasable products
Game-Specific Responsibilities
Roblox
Maintain separate catalogues for the Roblox games we support
Track game-specific items, currencies, bundles, pets, weapons, ranks, and services
Verify item names, rarities, quantities, and tradeability
Monitor updates that introduce, remove, rename, or rebalance items
Prevent products from different Roblox experiences from being incorrectly combined
Path of Exile and Path of Exile 2
Maintain currency, equipment, unique-item, crafting, and service catalogues
Separate products by game, platform, league, and game mode
Monitor new leagues, balance changes, drop-rate changes, and rapidly shifting economies
Update prices frequently during league launches and other volatile periods
Ensure item modifiers, variants, quantities, and listing descriptions are accurate
Diablo
Maintain item, material, gold, equipment, and service catalogues
Separate products by game, platform, season, mode, and server or region when applicable
Monitor seasonal resets, patches, balance changes, and item availability
Verify item attributes and variations before publishing listings
Other Games
Learn the economy and catalogue structure of newly assigned games
Identify the attributes customers need to select the correct product
Build and maintain organized product catalogues using reliable sources
Adapt quickly when games introduce new content or change their trading systems
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of online games, virtual items, currencies, and player-driven economies
Experience with Roblox, Path of Exile, Diablo, MMOs, ARPGs, or similar games
Excellent internet research and price-comparison skills
Advanced attention to detail and the ability to identify small listing discrepancies
Comfortable working with large product catalogues and repetitive daily audits
Proficiency with Google Sheets, Excel, or similar spreadsheet software
Ability to learn internal catalogue-management and e-commerce systems
Basic understanding of costs, margins, markups, and competitive pricing
Ability to evaluate whether a pricing source is reliable and current
Strong written English and accurate data-entry skills
Ability to work independently and complete daily updates on schedule
Reliable computer and internet connection
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience managing products for a gaming marketplace or e-commerce website
Experience pricing virtual goods, game currencies, or digital services
Familiarity with competitor marketplaces and game-economy tracking websites
Experience using Shopify, WooCommerce, marketplace dashboards, or product-management systems
Advanced spreadsheet skills, including filters, formulas, conditional formatting, and lookup functions
Experience working with rapidly changing seasonal economies
Knowledge of multiple games rather than only one title
Performance Expectations

Success in this role will be measured by:

Accuracy of product information and pricing
Completion of daily catalogue checks
Speed in responding to market changes
Reduction in outdated, unavailable, or incorrectly priced products
Accuracy of game, platform, region, league, season, and item variations
Quality and organization of pricing records
Ability to identify profitable products and catalogue gaps
Reliability in meeting daily deadlines

This position requires active judgment. The specialist should not blindly copy competitor prices. You must consider the reliability of the source, product quantity, exact variation, current availability, acquisition cost, market movement, and our required margin before making a change.

Application Questions

Please answer every question:

Which of the following do you know well: Roblox, Path of Exile, Path of Exile 2, Diablo, MMOs, or other online games?
For each game you listed, how long have you played it?
Have you previously managed an online product catalogue or updated e-commerce prices?
Have you worked with virtual items, currencies, game services, or player-driven economies?
How would you determine the current market price of an in-game item?
How would you confirm that two listings from different sources represent the exact same item and variation?
What factors would you consider before lowering a product’s price to match a competitor?
How would you handle a product whose price changes significantly several times in one day?
What would you do if competitor pricing conflicted with supplier pricing or internal availability?
How would you organize products across different games, platforms, regions, leagues, seasons, and servers?
Describe a situation where your attention to detail helped you identify an error.
Rate your Google Sheets or Excel ability from 1 to 10 and list the functions or features you regularly use.
Are you comfortable performing structured and repetitive catalogue checks every day?
What hours and days are you available?
Have you reviewed the salary rate and agree?

Practical Test

Shortlisted applicants may be asked to complete a paid test involving a sample game catalogue. The test may require the applicant to:

Research several products using multiple sources
Match exact item variations
Recommend updated prices
Identify inaccurate or missing information
Organize the findings in a spreadsheet
Explain the reasoning and sources behind each recommendation
