JOB OVERVIEW

I run a portfolio of YouTube channels — historical documentaries, long-form sleep narration, and 2D animation. I'm not hiring for one single role. I'm building a small pool of skilled people I can assign to different projects depending on what each person is genuinely good at.

This is long-term, ongoing work. If you're good, you'll have steady projects for months and years, not a one-off gig.

Three tracks — apply for ONE only

Pick the one you're strongest at. Applications that claim all three go to the bottom of the pile. I'd rather hire a specialist than a generalist who's mediocre at everything.

TRACK 1 — Long-Form Sleep Content

Calm, slow, atmospheric videos of 2-3 hours built on narration. Think ambient historical imagery, gentle transitions, no jump cuts, no sudden volume changes. The whole point is that the viewer falls asleep and never gets jolted awake.

You need to understand:

Pacing that stays hypnotic for hours without getting boring
Seamless, slow transitions and long holds on single images
Audio mixing where the voice sits softly over ambient beds — consistent loudness, zero spikes
Working efficiently at this length. If a 2-hour video takes you three weeks, this isn't for you.

TRACK 2 — History Documentary Videos (15-60 minutes)

Narrated historical documentaries built largely from AI-generated footage and imagery. Cinematic, atmospheric, driven by the script.

You need to understand:

Cutting to voiceover — matching every visual to what's being said, with rhythm
AI video tools: Higgsfield, Kling, Midjourney, Runway, Veo or similar. Prompting, shot consistency, and knowing how to hide or fix AI artifacts
Sound design, music selection, and building tension and atmosphere
Text overlays, maps, and simple motion graphics where the script calls for it

TRACK 3 — 2D Animation / Stickman Videos

Animated explainer and story videos with simple character styles, including stickman animation.

You need to understand:

Character animation with actual timing and personality, not just sliding assets across the screen
After Effects, Moho, Toon Boom or equivalent
Working from a script and a defined house style, and staying consistent with it across episodes
Motion graphics, lip sync where needed, and clean scene transitions

Requirements (all tracks)

Real portfolio with finished work I can watch. No portfolio, no reply.
Professional level. I'm not looking for someone learning on my projects.
Reliable communication and you hit deadlines. If something goes wrong, you tell me before the deadline, not after.
Comfortable working from a script and a style reference, and taking feedback without rebuilding everything from scratch.
Your own software and a machine that handles the work.

What I offer

Above-market pay for people who deliver. I'd rather pay one good editor well than manage three cheap ones.
Consistent volume — I publish regularly across multiple channels.
Clear briefs: you get the script, the visual direction, and reference material. No guessing.
