JOB OVERVIEW

We own a YouTube channel and we're looking for an editor who can edit 4 to 5 videos per week for us. The videos will be about 8-12 minutes in length.

Qualities we are looking for:

Core Responsibilities: Virtual Assistant

1. Social media and YouTube video and content production, organizing, scheduling, and posting.
a. VA should be well-trained in Mike Sherrard A.I. Agent content creation methodology.
b. VA should be well-trained in Mike Sherrard Social Agent Academy methodology.
c. Fluent English speaker and strong understanding of American culture and lifestyle.
d. Strong time management and task prioritization
e. Software experience needed: Google Drive, Whatsapp, Buffer/Later, YouTube, Instagram

2. Main Jobs (Output-Based…not Hours-Based)
a. Understand my brand and target audience.
b. Properly research content ideas and video titles that create trust and a willingness to work with me among my target audience.
c. Create teleprompter-friendly scripts for me to work off of when I go to record the videos.
d. Edit the videos to match up with my brand style, vibe, and tone.
e. Create thumbnails for the videos that match up with my brand style, vibe, and tone.
f. Use Opus or some other editing software to create shorts and reels from the long-form video.
g. Upload final long-form video, shorts, and reels to Google Drive for my review and approval.
h. Once approved by me, organize and schedule shorts, reels, and long-form videos in Buffer per the appropriate posting times.

3. Weekly Goals Checklist
a. Complete editing of 2 long-form videos for YouTube
b. Complete production/editing of 4 short-form videos for Instagram and YouTube Shorts
c. Create thumbnails for each video.
d. Schedule the newly completed videos in Buffer.
e. End of Week Report (EOWR) – This is a weekly email report to be sent to Steve on Friday at the end of the week to briefly explain:
i. What was accomplished this week?
ii. Was there anything you planned to get done this week that you didn’t get to? If so, what was it and how do you plan to get it done?
iii. What is your plan and goals for next week?
iv. Is there anything you need fro ---------- to help you accomplish your goals/tasks?

4. Monthly Goals Checklist (to be done in the first week of the month)
a. Assess the previous month’s video performance and connect with Steve on what needs to be done to improve.
b. Using Mike Sherrard A.I. methods, research the upcoming month’s (not current month) video topics, create teleprompter-friendly scripts and deliver to Steve.
i. Making video topic suggestions is encouraged as long as it’s backed by data.
