Hi,

I am looking for a reliable and creative video editor to help me build a new personal brand and social media channel from the beginning.

The content will be in English and will focus on my life as the founder of triplanet, a travel company that I run remotely while living in Vietnam / Southeast Asia. The videos will cover founder life, remote work, digital nomad lifestyle, travel business, daily workflow, moving to Vietnam, marketing, behind-the-scenes of running a company, and honest insights about building and operating a remote business.

This is not just a basic vlog channel. I want to build a professional, high-quality YouTube and short-form content brand with a strong storytelling style.

Your main tasks:

* Edit YouTube long-form videos, usually around 8–15 minutes
* Create short-form videos from the same footage for YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Instagram Reels
* Add clean, modern captions/subtitles
* Improve pacing, hooks and retention
* Add B-roll, simple graphics, text overlays and music where needed
* Cut talking-head content in a dynamic but professional way
* Create multiple short clips from one long-form video
* Help identify strong ---------- nts from the raw footage
* Export videos in the right formats for each platform
* Work with Google Drive / Dropbox / ---------- or similar tools

The style I am looking for:

* Modern, clean and professional
* Strong hooks in the first few seconds
* Fast enough to keep attention, but not overly chaotic
* Suitable for business, founder, travel and digital nomad content
* Not too many random effects, emojis or cheap sound effects
* High-quality subtitles and clear storytelling
* Similar quality to modern YouTube creator / founder / business lifestyle channels

Requirements:

* Very good English understanding
* Experience editing YouTube TRAVEL/LIFESTYLE/BUSINESS videos and short-form content
* Good sense for storytelling and retention
* Ability to create engaging short-form clips from longer videos
* Reliable communication
* Ability to meet deadlines (IMPORTANT!)
* Attention to detail
* Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or CapCut
* Experience with travel, business, founder or lifestyle content is a plus

This can become a long-term position if the collaboration works well.

At the beginning, I would like to start with a paid test project. The test will include editing one short-form video and possibly a short section of a long-form video. If the quality and communication are good, I would like to work together on a regular monthly basis.
