JOB OVERVIEW

WHAT THIS IS
We're an Australian jewelry brand. We make personalized 18K gold plated jewelry — names, birthstones, initials — and we've served over 500,000 customers since 2022.
Almost all our growth comes from video ads on Facebook and Instagram, and we ship around 100 new creatives a week. We have more good footage and more good briefs than we have hands to cut them. That's the job.
This is a long-term, ongoing role. We are not looking for a project freelancer.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Cut finished 9:16 vertical ads from written briefs and raw creator footage, plus 4:5 and 1:1 versions
- Re-cut the opening 3 seconds of winning ads into 2–3 alternate hooks — a big part of the role
- Burned-in captions, properly timed — not raw auto-transcription
- Text overlays, price cards and call-to-action end frames
- Audio cleanup: levels, noise, ducking
- Colour matching across creators shot in different lighting
- Naming and delivering files to our convention
- 20–30 finished variants a week once you're up to speed

WHAT YOU NEED
- 2+ years on short-form vertical, including at least 1 year on direct-response ADS (Meta, TikTok, Shorts). Wedding films and long-form YouTube alone won't be enough here.
- Experienced in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut
- Fast and comfortable in CapCut. Most of our volume is quick variants, and that's where speed matters.
- Excellent written and spoken English
- A machine that handles a multi-layer 4K timeline: M1 Mac or better with 16GB+, or Windows with 16GB+ and a dedicated GPU. Plus 50 Mbps+ internet with a backup connection. Please don't apply if your setup is below this — it makes the turnaround times impossible and neither of us will enjoy it.

HOURS AND PAY
- 20–25 hrs/week, Monday to Friday. You pick your window as long as it overlaps at least 3 hours with Australian business hours — 9am to 2pm Philippine time works well.
- Rate is negotiable and based on experience — tell us your hourly rate in USD and we'll work from there. Paid twice monthly by Wise.
- Option to go full-time.

THE TRIAL EDIT
We're not going to hire off a résumé. We want to see you cut one ad.
Everything you need is in this folder:

----------

Inside you'll find the creator clips and the product b-roll. That's all we're giving you — for the product, the brand and who we sell to, go to ---------- and have a look around.
We have deliberately NOT included examples of our existing ads. We want to see how you'd approach this, not how well you can copy us.
MAKE US ONE AD:
- 9:16 vertical, exported as MP4
- Keep the jewelry clear and central — we need to see the necklace, and the initial on the heart should be legible
- Add background music
- There's no script and that's deliberate. The clips are all there — how you arrange them into an ad is the part we want to see. Order, structure, length, pacing, hook, on-screen text: all yours.
- Budget about 2 hours. We've pulled out the usable clips for you so you're not wading through a full footage dump. We know it's still real time and we don't ask for it lightly — but this is a long-term position and we want to get it right, so we'd rather see one ad you actually cut than read twenty résumés.

HOW TO APPLY
Four things. OnlineJobs.ph can't take file attachments, so everything below needs to be a link — Google Drive, Dropbox or an unlisted YouTube video. Paste them into your application message.
- Your trial edit — a Google Drive or unlisted YouTube link. Please check the sharing is set so we can actually open it.
- Your résumé and a link to your portfolio or reel.
- Your available hours per week and the daily window you'd work, in Philippine time.
- Your hourly rate in USD. Give a number — “negotiable” tells us nothing.
We really appreciate the time everyone puts into this. We'll do our best to get back to everyone who submits an edit.
