About the Channel:
RTAT120 is a growing YouTube channel focused on Mario Kart gameplay and content, with an emphasis on high-quality, engaging videos that are easy to watch and fun for the community. We’re looking to bring on a video editor who can help streamline the editing process and elevate the channel’s content while keeping things minimal and viewer-friendly.

Role Overview:
We’re seeking a video editor to work on Mario Kart videos in a style similar to Shortcat. The editing style is minimal but polished, with good pacing and clean cuts that let the gameplay and commentary shine. Bonus if you can also make thumbnails, but this is not required.

Responsibilities:
• Edit raw Mario Kart gameplay/commentary footage into polished YouTube videos
• Apply a minimal editing style (comparable to Shortcat, JPGiviner, and TWD98)
• Add simple text, cuts, zooms, or effects only when they enhance clarity or humor
• Deliver videos in a timely manner (schedule can be flexible but consistent)
• Optional: design custom thumbnails that match the style of Mario Kart YouTube creators

Requirements:
• Proven experience with video editing (portfolio or past YouTube projects required)
• Familiarity with Mario Kart gameplay, community, and creators is highly preferred
• Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
• Strong sense of pacing and storytelling through gameplay editing
• Ability to take feedback and adjust editing style as needed

Bonus Points For:
• Experience making engaging thumbnails
• Knowledge of Mario Kart meta and trends in the YouTube community

Compensation:
• Paid per video (rate negotiable depending on experience and scope)
