JOB OVERVIEW

We are a small beverage brand looking to grow fast and are looking for an experienced video editor to help edit our ads that are used on Instagram and Facebook. The ideal person is bright, ambitious and has experience editing engaging videos used on social media and ads.

Your Job Role:
- Assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading it to a computer
- Following a script, screenplay, or outline
- Structuring content for capturing & retaining attention
- Inputting effects to enhance video
- Inputting music and sound to enhance footage
- Inputting graphics and b-roll to enhance footage
- Editing video according to timestamps for use across social media platforms
- Creating engaging videos and graphics for social media platforms

Types of videos and graphics you'll be working on include, but are not limited to:
- Founder Ads/VSLs/Mashups/UGC, etc
- IG Reels/TikTok videos (15-120 seconds)
- Product tutorials/demos
- Behind-the-scenes content

Types of tasks you will consistently be expected to do:
- Download all video assets from FrameIO
- Follow our creative brief to guide the video editing style
- Create highly engaging short-form videos (using pre-recorded footage + stock ) for TikTok and Instagram
- Add eye-catching text overlays, transitions, motion graphics and captions
- Optimize audio + raw footage to make it sound and look better

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must know how to create attention-grabbing content in the first 3 seconds
- Must have a strong PC and fast internet
- Experience with adding captions to videos
- Deep expertise on content creation for social channels such as TikTok and Instagram
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Davinci Resolve, Premiere Pro)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Familiarity with special effects and compositing
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
- Strong organizational skills

Hourly rate: $5-$10 depending on experience

This role will be a minimum of 20hrs/week and high potential to work full time depending on the quality of videos.
