Video Editor and Social Media Content Creator

Full time, remote

40 hours per week

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm UK time

We are a UK based B2B digital marketing agency looking for an experienced Video Editor and Social Media Content Creator to join our team.

We produce content for our own agency and for clients across the UK, Europe and the US.

We want to dramatically increase the amount of video and social content we produce, so we are looking for someone who can work quickly, independently and consistently while maintaining a high creative standard.

The Role

Your main responsibility will be turning raw footage, interviews, podcasts, webinars and existing content into engaging social media content.

You will:

• Edit a high volume of short form videos for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and other platforms

• Turn longer videos, interviews and webinars into multiple strong short form clips

• Identify the most interesting moments, hooks and stories within raw footage

• Add subtitles, graphics, music, B roll and other elements where appropriate

• Create different versions and formats of content for different social platforms

• Create supporting social graphics and simple visual assets

• Write or adapt captions for social posts

• Schedule and publish content

• Maintain social media content calendars

• Monitor published content and report on reach, engagement, views and other relevant performance metrics

• Identify which content performs best and use this information to improve future content

• Work across several client brands while following their individual styles and brand guidelines

• Use AI tools where they genuinely improve the speed or quality of production

What We Are Looking For

This is not an entry level role.

You must already have professional experience editing video and creating content for social media.

We are particularly interested in people who understand what makes people stop scrolling and watch.

You should understand:

• Strong opening hooks

• Pacing and retention

• Storytelling

• Short form social video

• Subtitles and on screen text

• Sound and music

• B roll selection

• Platform specific formats

• Social media trends

• Repurposing one piece of content into multiple assets

We care about both quality and speed.

We do not want somebody who spends an entire day producing one straightforward social video. We want someone who can develop an efficient production process and produce a substantial volume of good content every week.

Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar professional editing tools is expected.

Experience using modern AI video, editing or content tools is an advantage.

Working Hours

This is a full time position of 40 hours per week.

You must be available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm UK time.

We are looking for somebody who wants a long term role and can become an important part of our content production team.
