JOB OVERVIEW

We're launching two YouTube channels covering business, AI, finance, and leadership and need an editor to grow with us long term.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Edit 5 Content Types: Mini-docs, talking heads, mini-series, interviews, and shorts.
- Match the visual style of reference channels
- Create motion graphics, kinetic typography, and data visualizations
- Advise on equipment for production quality.


CONTENT TYPES:

- Practical Business Guides (10–15 min, weekly)
- Mini-Documentaries (12–20 min, 1–2/month)
- Mini-Series / Experiments (10–15 min, 3–5 episodes)
- Interviews / Podcasts (30–60 min, TBD)
- Shorts (30–60 sec, as needed)

NOTE: The primary language is Italian, so you do not need to speak it, but you must be comfortable editing content you cannot understand

QUALIFICATIONS:

- YouTube editing portfolio with motion graphics
- Ability to match and maintain a defined visual style from reference channels
- Comfortable editing non-English footage
- English proficiency for communication and scripts


BONUS POINTS:

- A background in STEM is a massive advantage as you will be dealing with technical business and AI topics.
- Proven experience editing for channels with 100k+ subscribers


COMPENSATION:

- $70-$100 per video (negotiable based on experience)
- 8-15 vid/month, 13-18 min/vid
- Minimum guaranteed: $500-$700 per month
- Path to full-time as channels scale
