We’re looking for a **Video Editor** to help us turn our weekly coaching and sales calls into high-quality content for YouTube, social media, our client Learning Center, and podcast platforms.
We’re looking for someone who can watch long-form content, understand what is being discussed, identify the strongest moments, and turn them into clean, engaging content.
*What You'll Be Editing
We have several recurring calls each week:
**Tuesday – Coaching Calls**
* Edit the full coaching call for our Learning Center and YouTube
* Incorporate presentation slides/PPTs
* Identify strong moments for short-form social media content
* Identify client wins and testimonials that can become standalone content
**Thursday – Deal Desk**
* Turn each deal/case discussed into a standalone YouTube video
* Extract strong short-form clips from the conversation
**Friday – Live Call Reviews**
* Turn reviewed calls into standalone YouTube videos
* Identify useful or interesting moments for social media
**Podcast**
* Prepare clean audio versions of long-form content for podcast distribution
*What We're Looking For
You should be able to:
* Edit long-form YouTube content
* Create engaging short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
* Remove filler, pauses, repetition, and unnecessary sections while preserving context
* Create clean, professional on-screen captions
* Write short social media captions to accompany the clips you create
* Work with presentation slides and other supporting visuals
* Organize multiple pieces of content from the same source recording
* Meet weekly publishing deadlines consistently
*The Most Important Skill
You need to be able to watch a conversation and recognize:
* A strong insight
* A useful lesson
* An interesting story
* A client win
* A compelling opinion
* A moment that could become a strong social media clip
We do not want someone who simply cuts random 30–60 second sections from a call.
* Ideal Candidate
You may be a good fit if you:
* Have experience editing podcasts, coaching content, business content, interviews, or educational videos
* Understand YouTube and short-form social content
* Have strong attention to detail
* Can work independently
* Are comfortable working with recurring weekly content
Experience with sales, real estate, coaching, or business content is a plus, but not required.
* Application Process
If your experience looks like a good fit, we’ll invite you to complete a short video editing assessment using footage from one of our real Deal Desk sessions.
The assessment will test both your editing ability and your ability to identify strong content from a longer conversation.
*How to Apply
Please send:
1. A short introduction
2. Links to 2–3 examples of your best work
3. At least one example of long-form YouTube or podcast editing, if available
4. At least one example of short-form content you've edited
5. The editing software you primarily use
6. Your expected monthly salary for a full-time role
Please start your application with the words **“DEAL DESK”** so we know you read the full job post.
