Job Description:
I'm looking for a motivated, creative, and ambitious video editor who’s ready to grow with me long-term. Someone who wants to prove themselves, who’s hungry to get better, and who understands (or is curious about) the digital marketing space.
This role is not for an agency. It’s for someone who wants to own their work, take pride in it, and be a valuable team member—not just a freelancer checking boxes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Edit 1–2 YouTube videos per week
Average length is 10–20 minutes
1–2 videos per month may be 60–90 minutes long (interviews, live trainings, etc.)
Create short-form content from those videos:
YouTube Shorts
Instagram Reels
TikToks
Make clean, high-quality edits that feel fast, punchy, educational, and sometimes humorous
Stay organized with file naming, drafts, and simple project handoffs via Google Drive or Dropbox
Bonus Skills (not required, but helpful):
Creating YouTube thumbnails
Writing video titles/descriptions with basic SEO
Helping brainstorm content structure and video hooks
Familiarity with Alex Hormozi, Gary Vee, Ben Heath or digital marketing content styles

You care about the final product, not just finishing the task
Compensation:
This is a flat monthly retainer so you’re not punished for light weeks, and I’m not worried during heavy weeks. I’m aiming to keep you at 80–85% of your capacity on average.

Location:
Remote. Philippines preferred.
Must be comfortable working with EST/PST time zone overlap for feedback (no strict hours required—just good communication).
Room to Grow: Start rate is $400-700/month with increases based on quality and consistency. I want to pay you more if you’re the right fit.
