JOB OVERVIEW

We are an e-commerce brand running paid ads on Facebook and Instagram. We're looking for a talented video editor who specializes in editing UGC (User-Generated Content) and short-form video content specifically optimized for Meta ads.

This is a project-based role — you'll be paid per video edited. If the quality is great and we work well together, this can become a long-term, recurring collaboration.

What You'll Be Editing

- Raw UGC footage from creators/customers (talking head videos, unboxings, testimonials)
- Short-form ad creatives (15–45 seconds) for Facebook and Instagram feeds, Reels, and Stories
- Hook testing variants — same video, multiple different opening hooks
- Occasional longer-form video content

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience editing video ads for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — this is a must
- Strong understanding of what makes a high-performing ad: strong hooks, pacing, captions, CTAs
- Able to add engaging captions/subtitles, b-roll, music, and sound effects
- Experience with UGC-style editing (keeping it authentic, not overly polished)
- Fast turnaround — able to deliver within 24–48 hours per video
- Good communication and able to follow a creative brief

Nice to Have

- Experience in e-commerce or direct-to-consumer brands
- Knowledge of current Meta ad trends and formats
- Basic motion graphics or text animation skills

How We Work

- You'll receive raw footage + a creative brief per video
- We'll provide feedback after the first few edits to align on style
- Payment is per video — rate based on experience and complexity
- Communication via Slack

To Apply, Please Send:

1. Your portfolio or examples of Meta ad edits you've done (required — no portfolio = no reply)
2. A short note about your experience with UGC and paid social content
3. Your rate per short-form video edit (15–45 sec)
4. Your typical turnaround time

A Few Tips for a Strong Application:

We receive a lot of applications. If your portfolio includes actual Meta ads — not just wedding videos or vlogs — you will stand out immediately. Show us you understand the difference between content that entertains and content that converts.
