JOB OVERVIEW

???? Part-Time Viral Video Editor & Content Strategist (5–20 Hours/Week)

We’re looking for a creative and results-driven video editor who specializes in making short-form content go viral on platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. You’ll be working directly with Jamal, who will handle all the filming. Your job is to take that footage and turn it into something that stops the scroll and sparks engagement.

This is a part-time role starting at 5–10 hours a week depending on your skills. If you’re great at what you do, this could grow into something bigger.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Edit raw footage into engaging short-form videos (15–60 seconds)
- Add captions, effects, cuts, ---------- s, and other viral elements
- Research trends and suggest video ideas, hooks, and angles
- Map out content and create structure/storyboards (if you're able)
- Post videos to social platforms (optional but a big bonus)
- Engage with users by replying to comments or highlighting top ones (bonus)

What We’re Looking For

- You’ve edited short-form videos that have gone viral — and can prove it
- You know how to grab attention in the first 3 seconds
- You’re comfortable using tools like CapCut, Final Cut, or Premiere
- You’re creative, fast, and know how to keep viewers watching
- You take feedback well and love experimenting with new ideas

Bonus Skills

- You’ve helped manage or grow a TikTok, IG Reels, or Shorts channel
- You understand basic analytics and what content performs well
- You can create basic thumbnails or Canva designs
- You write great captions or are good at engaging with fans
