We run a YouTube channel focused on police body cam footage. Our goal is to create compelling, engaging, and well-structured videos that not only present raw footage but also tell a story that captivates viewers and builds trust with our audience.
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can bring our content to life through professional editing, clear storytelling, and polished presentation.

Responsibilities
• Edit police body cam footage into engaging, well-paced videos.
• Write and structure video scripts/narratives that make each video flow naturally.
• Enhance raw footage with transitions, subtitles, graphics, and sound where appropriate.
• Ensure all videos meet our brand style, tone, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with the team on ideas for improving content storytelling and viewer engagement.
• Manage deadlines and deliver content consistently.

Requirements
• Video Editing Experience: Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Storytelling Ability: Strong skills in structuring a narrative, writing scripts, and making content engaging.
• English Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English for script writing, subtitles, and communication.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work independently.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Nice-to-Have (Not Required but a Plus)
• Familiarity with YouTube content creation and trends.
• Knowledge of fair use, copyright, and content guidelines (especially for law enforcement/body cam footage).
• Experience in adding voiceovers or working with voice talent.
