Position: Video Editor – Social Media (Instagram & TikTok), UGC and Interview Content
Type: Contract, Part-Time | Remote | Working with multiple contracts is accepted

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our remote team. In this role, you’ll edit a variety of social media content, including influencer/user-generated content (UGC), interviews, and branded videos, transforming raw footage into engaging, high-converting assets for Instagram, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do:
1. Social Media Video Editing, Content Enhancement & Storytelling
- Edit and enhance raw video content for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
- Edit raw footage from brand content, testimonials, interviews, UGCs and similar talking-head content into compelling social clips for maximum engagement.
- Select the most impactful
- Adapt videos for multiple formats and aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, etc.).
- Add subtitles, text overlays, voice over, motion graphics, transitions, and background music to improve video impact.
- Cut out filler, dead time, or mistakes to keep videos fast-paced and engaging.
- Ensure all edits align with brand style guidelines for colors, tone, and messaging.
2. Creative Collaboration
- Work closely with our internal marketing and social media teams to understand content needs and deliver accordingly.
- Contribute creative input and help brainstorm new video content ideas when needed.
- Maintain open communication regarding timelines, revisions, and project status.
3. Timely Delivery & File Management
- Meet all deadlines for project-based deliverables.
- Organize and deliver final video assets efficiently and maintain a reliable workflow.
Requirements – What We’re Looking For:
1. Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience, with a strong portfolio of social media content (TikTok, Instagram), Youtube experience is a plus.
2. Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
3. Demonstrated ability to create engaging, high-retention short-form videos for social media.
4. Experience editing UGC, influencer videos, and interview-style content.
5. Strong storytelling skills, creativity, and an eye for detail.
6. Ability to add captions, dynamic transitions, and sound effects that match brand guidelines.
7. Excellent communication skills in English.
8. Reliable internet connection and suitable computer for editing tasks.
9. Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable, with the ability to manage time and prioritize multiple projects independently.
