JOB OVERVIEW

About the role

The Athlete’s Spa is seeking a creative, reliable video editor to turn physiotherapy, fascia, movement, and recovery education into engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

You will work directly with Dr. Marlene Chin, a physiotherapist and fascia stretch specialist based in Jamaica. Our content helps active adults better understand back pain, stiffness, and movement, while encouraging relevant enquiries and sign-ups for our educational resources.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the creative editing direction, communicate clearly, and produce polished content that preserves the meaning of the information provided.

What we are looking for:

A strong portfolio of short-form video editing.
Good judgement about pacing, visual storytelling, text hierarchy, and audience attention.
Strong English comprehension and accurate caption editing.
Ability to turn educational content into clear, engaging visuals
Experience designing covers and carousels.
Basic understanding of social media performance metrics.
Reliable communication, file organization, and deadline management.
